Looking for a quiet place in the woods in a beautiful location? Found it!!! As soon as you step into this cozy nature house, suitable for two people, your vacation has begun. The nature house is located in a wooded area, about 3 km outside of Emst. In the living room you will find a corner sofa and 2 armchairs, a dining area and a TV. There is a fireplace with firewood. The open kitchen is equipped with kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother, induction hob, fridge freezer, oven and dishwasher. One bedroom with a double bed (bring your own bath and bed linen: cover 2x2m, pillowcases and under sheet 1.6x2m), adjacent you will find the renovated (now with floor heating) bathroom with toilet. There is free wifi. In the garden is a lounge set to relax with a snack, drink and a good book and listen to the sound of the birds and watch the squirrels. The house is fine overall. Nice kitchen layout and beautiful bath maker. The tops are definitely the location and the surroundings what peace and nature! There are some tips we would like to give; The wood stove in the living room may only be fired with the wood (right quality) what you can buy from the landlord. This is actually wood that you can also buy at the hardware store. Kitchen equipment could use an update in terms of small frying pan with convex bottom, frying pan without lid, good looking cooking spatula, cake forks, chef's knife and sharp paring knives were missing. Analog mini oven for 2 bake-off breads very small. Bathroom with underfloor heating (clock thermostat) did not work well for us and remained stuck at 18.6 degrees. Contact with landlady yielded nothing in terms of settings or improvement. A few hooks in the bathmaker for bathrobe etc. would be nice (see previous reviews). In the spacious bedroom is good space for a wardrobe instead of Ikea hanging rack with hanging baskets.

De houtkachel in de woonkamer mag alleen met het hout (juiste kwaliteit) wat je kunt kopen bij de verhuurder worden gestookt. Dit is feitelijk hout dat je in de bouwmarkt ook kunt kopen.
Keuken inrichting mag wel een update vwb kleine koekenpan met bolle bodem,hapjespan zonder deksel, knappe kookspatel, taartvorkjes, koksmes en scherpe schilmesjes ontbraken. Analoog mini-oventje voor 2 afbakbroodjes wel heel klein. Badkamer met vloerverwarming (klokthermostaat) werkte bij ons niet goed en bleef hangen op 18,6 graden. Contact met verhuurster leverde verder niets op mbt instellingen of verbetering. Paar haken in de badmaker voor badjas etc. zou fijn zijn ( zie eerdere reviews). In de ruime slaapkamer is prima plaats voor een hang-legkast ipv zo’n Ikea hangrekje met hangmandjes.We were there from March 7-14, 2026. Had lots of sunshine but 3-5 degrees in the morning. Wij waren er van 7-14 maart 2026. Veel zon gehad maar in de ochtend 3-5 graden. Geweldig mooie en rustige locatie met een prachtige tuin, een heerlijke overkapping om buiten te genieten. Het huis is mooi gelegen prima indeling en gezellig vwb inrichting. De omgeving is gewoon schitterend. Wandelen kan vanuit het huis via bospaden zo de natuur in.
