Vacation home in Damme (Moerkerke), located right next to and overlooking 'De stinker and the Blinker', the 2 canals that cross the Damme canal and flow into the North Sea. Within a radius of 5 to 15 km: Damme, Knokke, Sluis and Bruges. The nature house has 3 bedrooms for 2 persons (including 1 on the ground floor), modern bathroom, beautiful kitchen, dining room, living room, garden and sun terrace, 2 private parking spaces, space for bikes, quiet environment, in short: Vacation!
Nature and surroundings
Cycling routes, hiking trails, mountain bike routes on your doorstep - Damme: the smallest Flemish town with city rights. Due to the silting up of the Zwin in the Middle Ages, Bruges was no longer accessible and Damme became a very important port for several decades. Now a beautifully preserved medieval village with lots of rest, many resrtaurants and close to Bruges. - Bruges: (one of) the most important tourist art cities of Flanders. But so much more: small medieval streets, the mills, many terraces, exceptional museums, ... - Sluis: the small, cozy border town at the end of the Damse Vaart. Lots of shopping, entertainment, gastronomic retaurants, ... - Knokke: the fashionable Knokke-Zoute, most fashionable seaside resort in Belgium, on the border with the Netherlands. Shopping, sunbathing, but also the beautiful nature reserve 'Het Zwin'
