The farm was built in 1953 and stands amid more than 1 acre of grassy fields, an apple orchard, oak and beech trees. It is a bird's paradise, where you can sometimes spot a hare or deer early in the morning. It gives the feeling of being in the middle of a park. A park surrounded by fields and with neighbors well away. Barn and stables are still in original condition. In the house we have adapted something. The house is simply furnished, without luxury, but the basic facilities are there for 6 people for a long weekend or a week of carefree relaxation. In and around the house are plenty of opportunities for sports activities: a table tennis table, trampoline, badminton and pool billiards. It is a farm that can take a beating, for people who are a little self-reliant and not afraid of a spider.
Nature and surroundings
Loher Westmark is a hamlet containing about 25 houses and farms. A bit off the main road, the nature house is hidden among high trees; a piece of nature in the German countryside. For shopping you have to go to Barssel; distance 5 km. There are at least 5 supermarkets there, some with a bakery. There is also a marina, because Barssel lies on the Soeste and up to there the river is navigable.

Nina August 5, 2023 General rating:Erg ruim huisje, een oude boerderij met veel ruimte voor ieder. Lekker plaatjes draaien uit de collectie, poolen of tafelvoetbal. Zelf pingpongend loop je niemand in de weg.
Nature, peace & environment:Er zeer ruime tuin, waarin rust en spelend kinderen goed te combineren valt.

Rainer July 8, 2023 General rating:Wir sind eigentlich nicht sehr anspruchsvoll, aber das war ein Horrorurlaub. Unsere Kinder sind nach 3 Tagen wieder gefahren, wir haben noch 5 Tage länger ausgehalten, die bezahlten 14 Tage haben wir nicht ausgenutzt. Die Bezeichnung Verwohnt wäre noch zu gut für dieses Naturhäuschen. Überall lösen sich die Tapeten, der Putz blättert ab, die Elektrik schaut hervor. Die Sauberkeit war eher oberfächlich, wo man hinfasste Spinnweben. 90 Prozent des Mobiliars gehören auf den Sperrmüll, am Esstisch nur 5 lebensgefährlich wackelige Stühle für 6 Personen. Die Matratzen in den Schlafräumen sind kaum als solche zu bezeichnen. In einem der Schlafräume wurde anscheinend versucht, den Geruch mit einem Geruchsvernichter zu bekämpfen, was aber nur mäßig gelungen ist.
Nature, peace & environment:Die mückenverseuchte Umgebung am Haus ließ einen Aufenthalt im Freien tagsüber kaum und Abends gar nicht zu. Ich habe am ersten Tag 50 Mückenstiche abbekommen, meiner Frau und unseren erwachsenen Kindern erging es auch nicht viel besser. Ein Schweinemastbetrieb in der Nähe schickte ab und zu seine unerträglichen Düfte zu uns.

Nature, peace & environment:Sehr viel Ruhe, für Wanderer mit Hund allerdings nicht empfehlenswert.
