A beautiful tjalk from 1905 and is situated on a meadow in Poppenwier. You are not allowed to recreate in the meadow. So you stay on the boat. This historic ship has been converted to accommodate guests. The ship measures 18.84x3.7m and weighs 47 tons. It has a very spacious deckhouse, with a beautiful authentic Bruynzeel kitchenette, equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, refrigerator and cold running water. Furthermore, a spacious dining area with 4 chairs and a spacious sitting area with a lovely corner sofa and armchair. To the left of the entrance is a toilet with a holding tank. You use the toilet and shower in the yard. And share this with the recreants of the Pod. These are max. 2 persons. The ship was last spring equipped with a new spacious sleeping cabin with headroom, equipped with a lovely 2 bed. Please note, the ship is equipped with onboard power, 24 volts, on which the lights, toilet and refrigerator work. There is an inverter for charging a phone or laptop.
Nature and surroundings
The home port of the ship is at the meadow of the Marsherne in Poppenwier. Beautiful views all around. Poppenwier is a small mound village with an eatery. Poppenwier is centrally located in Friesland which means that the big eleven cities can be reached in max. half an hour by car. Water sports towns such as Grou, Terherne and Sneek are close to Poppenwier. The train can be found fifteen minutes away.

Liebevoll eingerichtet, außergewöhnliche Erfahrung. Haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Kritikpunkt: die Toilette nur fürs "kleine Geschäft". Dies müsste in der Beschreibung stehen. Ich habe Morbus crohn, damit wird es schwierig. Wir sind Camper und haben dieses Problem mit unserer Chemieindustrie gelöst. Der Hafenmeister ist super nett und hilft unkompliziert super schnell weiter.
Nature, peace & environment:Sehr schöne Umgebung für tolle Radtouren.

Het is een unieke ervaring zo'n verblijf op een boot. Er zitten 2 fietsen bij die je mag gebruiken dat is ideaal. Schoon beddengoed moet je apart betalen, en dat terwijl de bedden niet zulke gangbare maten hebben. Daarnaast is de doucheruimte tijdens ons verblijf niet schoongemaakt en er primitief.
Nature, peace & environment:Het uitzicht was fenomenaal. De boot ligt in de buurt van een drukke weg die hoor je wel.

De boot is heel charmant en sfeervol. Het geeft je een gevoel echt even weg te zijn van je normale dagelijkse bestaan. We hadden wel erg veel last van muggen.
Nature, peace & environment:Het schip lag in Tersoal, een heel klein haventje met prachtig uitzicht over de weilanden. Een plek in alle rust.
