Overnight stay in a former barn. The door to freedom, into the green landscape can be opened and a breathtaking view from the bed is guaranteed. The room is about 65 square meters in size and very authentically furnished. The old beamed ceiling, the sandstone walls and the old floor have been preserved in their original state. In the barn there is a double bed and a single bed, which can also be used as a sofa. The room also has a reading corner with a cozy old wing chair. There is also a table with an old bench and chair. The bathroom is 20m away and may have to be shared with 1-2 other guests. Depending on whether the glass house is booked in the same period. The price refers to 2 persons. Each additional person costs 20€ per night
Nature and surroundings
The barn is surrounded by meadows, fields, bushes and trees on the property of my resettlement farm. There are 3 horses, a dog, 3 cats and some chickens. Baumgartenhof lies at the foot of the basalt cone "Rauher Kulm". This was honored as one of the 10 most beautiful natural wonders in Germany. Wonderful hiking trails lead around the basalt cone or up the tower. The nearest train station is 3 km away. Shopping facilities can be found in the neighboring Neustadt am Kulm or in Kemnath. Numerous excursion destinations are located within a radius of Bayreuth 20km Franconian Switzerland Fichtelgebirge Steinwald Luisenburg
