Nature house in Oignies-En-Thiérache (Viroinval)

During a blood-hot Pentecost weekend, it was great to plunge into the ice-cold water of the "pond" (a kind of weir-basin in a stream) after a long walk.

Tijdens een bloedheet pinksterweekend was het heerlijk om na een lange wandeling in het
ijskoude water van de "vijver"
(een soort stuw-bassin in een
beekje) te plonzen.

Super nice cottage in a beautiful setting in the middle of the forest. There are other cottages in the area, but because the forest is so spacious, you don't notice much of that.

Superfijn huisje in een prachtige omgeving midden in het bos. Er zijn andere huisjes in het gebied, maar omdat het bos zo ruim is, merk je daar niet veel van.

Once again we had a wonderful time in this chalet and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings immensely.

Wij hebben nogmaals een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit chalet en ontzettend genoten van de prachtige omgeving.

My three girlfriends and I really enjoyed this special chalet. The surroundings are really beautiful, wonderful to really unwind. The interior of the chalet is stylish and cozy and it offers ample opportunity for good cooking. The private grounds around the chalet are large and cozy: there are several places where you can sit outside. Every morning you are greeted by cheerful birds and the wonderful fresh air of nature. The area lends itself to a long walk through the beautiful forests. Furthermore, you can drive about 6 minutes past a delicious bakery to get a delicious breakfast. The communication was very good and fast. We had a great time in the chalet. It is highly recommended!

Mijn drie vriendinnen en ik hebben echt ontzettend genoten van dit bijzondere chalet. De omgeving is werkelijk prachtig, heerlijk om echt even goed tot rust te komen. De inrichting van het chalet is stijlvol en gezellig en het biedt ruime gelegenheid om lekker te koken. Het eigen privé terrein rondom het chalet is groot en gezellig: er zijn verschillende plekjes waar je lekker buiten kunt zitten. Iedere ochtend wordt je begroet door vrolijke vogeltjes en de heerlijke frisse natuurlucht. De omgeving leent zich voor een flinke wandeling door de prachtige bossen. Verder kan je op zo ongeveer 6 minuutjes rijden langs een heerlijke bakker om een lekker ontbijtje te halen. De communicatie verliep ontzettend goed en snel. We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het chalet. Het is een enorme aanrader!

Everything was available and the contact with the owner very pleasant. The surroundings are beautiful.

Alles was voorhanden en het contact met de eigenaar erg plezierig. De omgeving is prachtig.

The cottage was fully equipped and very artfully and tastefully decorated. The sauna was wonderful and the environment offered a lot of peace and you were always woken up in the morning by many bird sounds. A beautiful area with many forests, hiking trails and cozy taverns to have a drink and a stop. The contact with the owners was very pleasant and if we asked anything an answer came immediately. The warm welcome with messages that we were welcome, wishing us a nice stay and asking if everything was satisfactory was very positive to experience. Het huisje was voorzien van alle gemakken en zeer kunstzinnig en sfeervol ingericht. De sauna was heerlijk en de omgeving bood veel rust en je werd steeds ‘‘s morgens gewekt door vele vogelgeluiden. Een prachtige omgeving met veel bossen, wandelroutes en gezellige tavernes om iets te drinken en een tussenstop te houden. Het contact met de eigenaren was zeer prettig en als we iets vroegen kwam er meteen een antwoord. De warme ontvangst met berichtjes dat we welkom waren, ons een fijn verblijf wensen en vragen of alles naar tevredenheid was zeer positief om te ervaren.
