Welcome to Lodges on the Posbank. It doesn't get any closer to the Posbank. From this place you can take fantastic walks or bike rides. Wilduitkijkpunt is around the corner, wake up to birds singing or sleep with the owl in the background. Luxury chalet in the middle of the forest. 45 m2 with large garden & shed on quiet vacation park at the foot of nature reserve 'the Posbank' on the edge of the Veluwezoom. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room with pellet stove and a nice terrace including a wood stove. With dry weather can obviously not be fired outside, bring your own BBQ. The shower works on an electric boiler which heats for 20 minutes at 38 degrees. Perfect for couples with a baby or 1 (larger) child. The cottage is also suitable for vacations for 2 p with each their own bedroom. Restaurants, visitor center and tourist office with bicycle and scooter rental within walking distance. Small 15 minute walk from the station.

You can leave the little park on either side to hike. A small detour to the Wildlife Observatory Herikhuizen or the Sheepfold (see googlemaps) or a very long hike that fans out over the whole area. Recommended: Highlander Rheden (googlemaps). There are several restaurants in the area. Supermarket Albert Hein is open on Sundays from 10.00, during the week from 8.00. In the summer, besides forest and heath, it is also great to go to the sandy beaches of Lathum/Giesbeek/Rhederlaag, on the bike you are there very quickly with the ferry. At the end of the village after the center under the viaduct and then to the right (April-September and pay attention to the sailing times).
