Our Ferienhaus Hochwald is a modern vacation home with multiple accommodations and is beautifully located in the picturesque and touristic Bad Sachsa. a vacation resort on the sunny south side of the Harz, about 350 km from the Dutch border. The Harz and Bad Sachsa are a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers and motorcyclists. Several hiking and mountain bike routes start literally around the corner. Hochwald offers a detached bungalow with private garden, a 2 pers.room with bathroom en-suite, two fully equipped apartments, one of which is Maxi. The apartment Maxi (Maximum 3 persons) is equipped with an open kitchen, 2 induction hobs, an oven and microwave available on request, toaster, sandwich iron, glasses and plates and pans, and cutlery. A modern living room and a spacious bedroom with double and single bed and private bathroom. Towels and bed linen free, and free wifi. Parking is free on site.
Nature and surroundings
Strolling along and over the former minefields on foot or by bicycle is a special experience. Even without exploring yourself, the Grenzlandmuseum Bad Sachsa provides an insightful overview of this chapter. Those who want to relax after all the outdoor activities can visit the various restaurants and pubs in addition to the garden. In Salztal Paradies, a 10-minute walk from us, you can enjoy year-round ice-skating in the indoor ice hall, or just the opposite, swimming in the adjacent tropical pool that also features a sauna and Turkish bath. "Regenbogenland" an indoor playground for the little ones is located in the same complex. A family restaurant completes it all.
