The cottage is located on a small active farm built in 1769. Bambecque is a small authentic northern French village in all tranquility and greenery. The interior is carefully done in the Old Flemish style but with modern comforts. You will come to complete rest on this site full of "pure nature. The farm gets a new ecological and social destination: food forest, permaculture and small-scale lodging, with which we like to focus on connection. The nature house is well insulated and can be heated in different ways. In the living room, the sofa can be used as an extra sofa bed. All around you have a view of the beautiful wild nature elements reflected in the embankment.
Nature and surroundings
The farm with the nature house is surrounded by a lot of trees and shrubs that were planted about 40 years ago. This site has also been ecologically managed since then, which has already created a nice ecological balance that is accompanied by a great diversity of wild plants and animals. This is therefore an ideal starting point to integrate a food forest there. In this way, the system is strengthened by the added biodiversity and the new plantings will also be able to enjoy the many benefits the ecosystem already has to offer. Nice to know is that the proceeds of the rentals are integrally invested in the eco-social project that is unfolding.
