The cottage is located on a small active farm built in 1769. Bambecque is a small authentic northern French village in all tranquility and greenery. Nature, peace & environment:This was my third booking and so far the worst experience. The cottage was cute and small, in slightly more weathered condition than the pictures show. But the bed, a sofa bed, was terrible!!! 3 of the 4 nights of my stay an alarm went off (for no reason) and took quite a long time to turn off! All in all not a good experience this time!!! Response from landlord: The bed on the mezanine is a real bed, not a sofa bed. The couch in the living area is indeed a sofa bed, but not meant to be used as a bed.
