Nature house in Nisramont

It’s a spacious vacation home with good amenities. A pleasant place to stay.
A nice bonus is that there’s a pool table.
Still, I can’t give it an 8 because the checkout process was a hassle. That could have been avoided with clear instructions on what goes in which of the three bins and how to seal the bags. Despite our efforts to sort the trash according to Nisramont’s rules, we were unable to do so. This resulted in a reduction in our security deposit refund.

Het is een ruim vakantiehuis met goede voorzieningen. Een prettig huis om in te verblijven.
Een leuke extra is dat er een golfbiljarttafel is.
Toch geen 8 omdat de afhandeling vervelend is gelopen. Dat had kan worden voorkomen door duidelijke instructies over wat in welke van de drie bakken moet en de afsluiting van de zakken. Ondanks onze inspanningen om het afval volgens de regels in Nisramont te scheiden is dat niet gelukt. Dat leidde tot een vermindering van de teruggave van de borg.

The house is in a beautiful location. It is situated on the Ourthe River in a quiet area, near the Nisramont reservoir.

Het huis heeft een mooie ligging. Het ligt aan de Ourthe in een rustige omgeving, vlakbij het stuwmeer van Nisramont.

A very neat house with plenty of spacious beds. When it gets hot (which it did during our weekend), it’s hard to keep the inside cool. An air conditioner or fan would be helpful in that case.

Compleet net huis met voldoende en ruime bedden. In geval van hitte (dat was in ons weekend) is het binnen wel lastig cool te krijgen. Een airco of ventilator zou dan wenselijk zijn.

A lovely spot with a beautiful patch of land along the Ourte. On hot days, it’s a wonderful place to relax. Lots of trees and greenery, and since it’s on a dead-end street, there’s only local traffic. The only downside (which is why it doesn’t get a full 5 stars) is that the road winding through the hills is frequently used by motorcyclists, which can be quite noisy (though only during the day, by the way—it’s wonderfully quiet in the evening).

Heerlijke plek met mooi stukje grond aan de ourte. In geval van warmte is dat heerlijk toeven. Veel bomen en groen en aan doodlopend straatje dus alleen bestemmingsverkeer. Enig nadeel (vandaar geen volle 5 sterren is de weg die door de heuvels loopt wordt veel door motorrijders gebruikt met de nodige herrie (alleen overdag trouwens, in de avond heerlijk rustig)

Very nice cozy house. With all the trimmings. We enjoyed the surroundings. The tranquility . A fine cottage from fine hosts.

Heel leuk knus huis. Met alles erop en eraan aan. We hebben genoten van de omgeving. De rust . Een fijn huisje van fijne hosts.
