Nature house in La roche en ardenne

Beautiful rooms. The kitchen is well-equipped. A toilet and an additional bathroom upstairs would be a nice bonus.

It's quiet by the water, but you can still hear the noise from the runway above.

A beautiful, spacious, and comfortable house with all the comforts of home. The only thing missing was a washing machine, but we managed just fine with a few hand-washes.
As for showers, there’s a water heater that provided nice, warm showers. Just like at home, we made clear arrangements about who would shower when so that everyone could enjoy a nice, warm shower.

Mooi ruim comfortabel huis met alle gemakken van thuis. Alleen geen wasmachine maar met een paar handwasjes konden wij ons prima redden.
Qua douchen is er een boiler wat prika douchen was. Net sls thuis maakten we goede afspraken wie wanneer douchte zodat iedereen heerlijk warm kon douchen.

A very spacious house where we could enjoy each other’s company and still have the opportunity to have a moment of privacy. Beautiful surroundings with great walking trails. It got busier by the lake at times. It was just a matter of picking the right moments to go for a peaceful walk or go fishing. At the cottage, you didn’t notice any of the hustle and bustle from the lake.
There were several beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. In the evenings, it was usually wonderfully quiet, and we could enjoy the peace and quiet and all the wildlife in the area.

Een heel ruim huis, waar we fijn samen konden zijn en tegelijk de mogelijkheid hadden om een moment van privacy te hebben. Mooie omgeving met fijne wandel mogelijkheden. Bij het meer was het op sommige momenten drukker. Kwestie van de goede momenten pakken om in alle rust te kunnen wandelen of vissen. Bij het huisje mertke je niets van de drukte die bij het meer was.
In de directe omgeving waren een aantal mooie wandelmogelijkheden. 's Avonds was het meestal heerlijk stil en konden we genieten van de rust en alle dieren in de omgeving.

We had a very pleasant stay in this nature house. The house is cozily furnished, filled with natural light, and equipped with every comfort. The beds are excellent, so we slept wonderfully.

Upstairs, the floor creaks a little here and there, but that just adds to the house’s charm and fits in with the authentic atmosphere.

The owner, Rudy, also deserves a special mention. He provided us with a lot of useful information in advance and was always easy to reach during our stay if we had any questions. When we had a minor issue, he immediately helped us come up with a solution. His helpfulness, availability, and friendly communication made our stay even more enjoyable.
We’d love to come back again!

We hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit natuurhuisje. Het huis is gezellig ingericht, heeft veel lichtinval en is van alle comfort voorzien. De bedden zijn uitstekend, waardoor we heerlijk hebben geslapen.

Boven kraakt de vloer hier en daar een beetje, maar dat geeft het huis net extra charme en past bij de authentieke sfeer.

Ook de eigenaar, Rudy, verdient een speciale vermelding. Hij bezorgde ons vooraf al heel wat nuttige informatie en was tijdens ons verblijf steeds vlot bereikbaar voor vragen. Toen we een klein incidentje hadden, dacht hij meteen mee aan een oplossing. Zijn behulpzaamheid, bereikbaarheid en vriendelijke communicatie maakten ons verblijf nog aangenamer.
Wij komen heel graag nog eens terug!

The surroundings were wonderfully peaceful; we actually only came across a few hikers now and then. The natural scenery was beautiful and very pleasant. The river was a real highlight: our children played there for hours and had a great time. In addition, there are plenty of beautiful hikes to enjoy in the area, making it an ideal place to unwind.

De omgeving was heerlijk rustig; we kwamen eigenlijk alleen af en toe een paar wandelaars tegen. De natuur was prachtig en erg aangenaam. De rivier was een absolute meerwaarde: onze kinderen hebben er uren gespeeld en zich uitstekend vermaakt. Daarnaast zijn er in de omgeving heel wat mooie wandelingen mogelijk, waardoor het een ideale plek is om tot rust te komen.
