Nature house in MONTEBRACCO, BARGE

We had high expectations that were amply fulfilled. It was a pleasant dip into the past, with all the pros and all the cons. But mind you for us the cons were greatly appreciated: The essentiality, the wood stove to load and light, the smell of the burning stove, the cold rooms to warm up before staying there, the absence of TV. Not to mention the view of Monviso, the distance from the usual "civilization," the terrace....

Avevamo grandi aspettative che sono state ampiamente soddisfatte. E stato un piacevole tuffo nel passato, con tutti i pro e tutti i contro. Ma attenzione per noi i contro sono stati molto apprezzati: L’essenzialità, la stufa a legna da caricare e accendere, l’odore della stufa accesa, i locali freddi da scaldare prima di soggiornarvi, l assenza della tv. Senza parlare della vista sul Monviso, la lontananza dalla abituale “civiltà”, il terrazzo…

There was a calmness to which we are no longer accustomed. The only noises were the chirping of birds and the buzzing of insects. At night, a real darkness. All immersed in the woods and nature.

C era una calma alla quale non siamo più abituati. Gli unici rumori erano il cinguettio degli uccelli e il ronzare degli insetti. Di notte, un vero buio. Il tutto immersi nel bosco e nella natura.

An experience to be had again, the houses and the surrounding forest give a calm and peaceful feeling that those who live in the city do not know. Carlo is a caring and kind host, the house equipment is basic but guarantees an authentic experience.

Esperienza da rifare, le case e il bosco circostante regalano una calma e una sensazione di pace che chi vive in città non conosce. Carlo è un host premuroso e gentile, la dotazione della casa è essenziale ma garantisce un'esperienza autentica.

We spent a rejuvenating time immersed in the quiet of the wild houses.

Abbiamo trascorso un tempo rigenerante immersi nella quiete delle case selvatiche.

The house is very spacious for 2 people, it has a great, individual, artistic interior and impresses above all with the spacious veranda, where you can lie in the hammock and enjoy the fantastic view. You can sleep very well in the bed, even in warmer temperatures it is quite cool. Perfect for finding peace and quiet.

Das Haus ist für 2 Personen sehr geräumig, es hat eine tolle, individuelle, künstlerische Einrichtung und besticht vor allem mit der geräumigen Veranda, auf der man in der Hängematte liegen und die geniale Aussicht genießen kann. Im Bett kann man sehr gut schlafen, auch bei wärmeren Temperaturen ist es recht kühl. Perfekt, um zu Ruhe zu kommen.

The cottage is great, an incredible view and tranquillity and Carlo, the landlord, is very nice, helpful and, luckily for us, also spoke French. The last few meters to get there seemed very adventurous at first, but it was easy even with a fully packed car plus 2 bikes.

Das Häuschen ist super, eine unglaubliche Aussicht und Ruhe und Carlo, der Vermieter ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und hat zu unserem Glück auch französisch gesprochen. Der Anfahrtswegs auf den letzten Metern erscheint anfangs sehr abenteuerlich, gelang aber selbst mit voll gepacktem PKW plus 2-Bikes gut.
