In an unspoiled corner of the Italian Alps, facing Monviso, we open the doors of our nature houses, a small hamlet nestled in the woods at an altitude of 900 meters, accessible via an earthen track of just over 1 km, by car in 10 minutes or in about twenty minutes on foot from the parking lot on the square of the Certosa di Mombracco in the town of Barge, Cuneo. The hamlet, derelict at the time of purchase, has retained its original features; the upgrades were done in green building, using ecological stone/wood/lime/paint and natural fibers for insulation. The hamlet includes a large long house, a small house for 2 people and the house where we live.
