Nature house in Zarren

Overall impression: Not rustic, but neglected; poor value for money. Despite responses, we often had to ask; this put a strain on the vacation. The booked jacuzzi was not usable: on arrival cloudy/dirty (insects, feathers, something like feces), once empty; the following day only refilled, not cleaned; heating about 90 min, only lukewarm. The chimney drew smoke into the house; fuel partly residual wood (treated, with nails, partly damp). Inside: hard chairs, modular sofa unsuitable for lying down. Outdoor facilities run down (pond difficult to access, boat dirty, trampoline dilapidated); no canopy/no doormat, which leads to wetness in the entrance area. Outdoor shower far away; shower high and not adjustable. Basement questionable (leaves, dead mouse, approx. 1 cm of water near electrics). Arrival only clarified after enquiry; regular tractor noise. We therefore left 4 days earlier. We currently advise against booking and would not book again. Photo evidence available

Gesamteindruck: Nicht rustikal, sondern vernachlässigt; Preis-Leistung schwach. Trotz Reaktionen mussten wir oft nachfragen; das belastete den Urlaub. Der gebuchte Jacuzzi war nicht nutzbar: bei Ankunft trüb/verschmutzt (Insekten, Federn, etwas wie Kot), einmal leer; am Folgetag nur aufgefüllt, nicht gereinigt; Heizen ca. 90 Min, nur lauwarm. Der Kamin zog Rauch ins Haus; Brennmaterial teils Restholz (behandelt, mit Nägeln, teils feucht). Innen: harte Stühle, modulares Sofa zum Liegen ungeeignet. Außenanlagen heruntergekommen (Teich schwer zugänglich, Boot verschmutzt, Trampolin marode); kein Vordach/keine Fußmatte, das führt zu Nässe im Eingangsbereich. Aussendusche weit entfernt; Brause hoch und nicht verstellbar. Keller bedenklich (Laub, tote Maus, ca. 1 cm Wasser nahe Elektrik). Anreise erst nach Rückfrage geklärt; regelmäßiger Traktorlärm. Wir sind daher 4 Tage früher abgereist. Wir raten derzeit von einer Buchung ab und würden nicht erneut buchen. Fotobelege vorhanden

Dilapidated outside: Pond difficult to access/not inviting; boat; with moss, open door, bottles, rains in; small boat with water/leaves by the pond; trampoline dilapidated. No canopy/foot mat; wet inside. Outdoor shower far away; thistles, loose tiles; shower too high/not adjustable (next to it when windy); hot water late. Inside: hard chairs; modular rattan sofa with thin cushioning, unsuitable for lying down. Fireplace draws smoke into the house. Sleeping area: uncomfortable mattress; decorative branch at the headboard (risk of bumping); defective light above the bed and under the stairs; very steep stairs. Basement: lots of leaves (window open), dead mouse, ~1 cm of water; water connection in the wet, near electrical; many cobwebs; projector outdated. Kitchen/sanitary: upper sink with overflow hole; lower sink almost clogged after days. Surroundings: regular tractor noise

Anreise erst nach Rückfrage klar. Deutlicher Wartungsrückstand: maroder Steg/Terrasse mit Löchern (trotz vorab E-Mail), schiefe Dachrinne. Aussen heruntergekommen: Teich schwer zugänglich/nicht einladend; Schiff; mit Moos, offener Tür, Flaschen, regnet rein; beim Teich kleines Boot mit Wasser/Laub; Trampolin marode. Kein Vordach/Fussmatte; Nässe innen. Aussendusche weit entfernt; Disteln, lockere Fliese; zu hoch/nicht verstellbare Brause (bei Wind daneben); Warmwasser spät. Innen: harte Stühle; modulares Rattan-Sofa mit dünner Polsterung, zum Liegen ungeeignet. Kamin zieht Rauch ins Haus. Schlafbereich: unbequeme Matratze; Deko-Ast am Kopfende (Stossgefahr); defekte Leuchte über dem Bett u. unter der Treppe; sehr steile Treppe. Keller: viel Laub (Fenster offen), tote Maus, ~1 cm Wasser; Wasseranschluss im Nassen, nahe Elektro; viele Spinnweben; Beamer veraltet. Küche/Sanitär: oberes Spülbecken mit Überlaufloch; unteres nach Tagen fast verstopft. Umgebung: regelmässig Traktorlärm

Bed niet fantastisch.

Calm, quiet and cozy, simple but everything you need! Outdoor shower and sauna are a real plus here. Fine ( very good) dining options nearby.

Kalm, rustig en gezellig, eenvoudig maar alles wat je nodig hebt!
Buitendouche en sauna zijn hier een echt pluspunt.
Fijne ( zeer goede) eetgelegenheden in de buurt.

If you are of the all in luxury vacation you should not come here....but I recommend it to everyone because it is single!!!

Als je van de all in luxe vakantie bent moet je hier niet komen....maar ik raad het iedereen aan want het is enig!!

What a wonderful place! Peace, croaking frogs, a cuckoo, lots of tadpoles in the water.....and sure, it's primitive; a toilet outside, an outdoor shower, no wifi, no TV, 2 induction hobs to cook on, fire to heat inside.... But if you adjust to that and love a lot of brocante it's paradise!!! Play games, read, wear a thick sweater at night. Back to basics and don't whine. Thanks Frits!

Wat een heerlijke plek! Rust, kwakende kikkers, een koekoek, heel veel kikkervisjes in het watertje.....en zeker, het is primitief; een wc buiten, een buiten douche, geen wifi, geen tv, 2 inductie kookplaten om op te koken, vuur stoken om te verwarmen binnen... Maar als je je daar op in stelt en veel van brocante houd is het een paradijs!! Spelletje doen, lezen, dikke trui aan savonds. Back to basics en niet zo zeuren. Dankjewel Frits!
