In the French Alps in a very small village Terre Rouge (7 permanently inhabited houses), a separate part of the house as a vacation apartment. The nature house is half in the mountain. From 2022 there is a private entrance. The house is 300 years old, beautifully refurbished, though left in original style. With a private terrace at the entrance and also a private garden on the slope next to the vegetable garden. With a wood stove, private kitchenette (everything available), shower and toilet. A large living room with a sleeping area, and two rooms. Only suitable for people who love nature and silence. No smokers! A dog is no problem. Also possible to use the front garden with a campfire place (shared). The house is inside with a lot of wood and natural materials. Please note: 2 beds 190 cm, 4 beds 200 cm, placing a small tent in the garden is allowed by appointment. A set of bed linen + towel per person is required at the time of booking.
Nature and surroundings
Nearby nature reserves, possibility of hiking, rafting, hang gliding, mountain biking. In winter, a cross-country skiing area is 4 km away. For shopping, the town of Briançon is 15 min away by car (7 km) or downhill by bike (uphill by bike takes 40 min). Placing a tent somewhere for the children is possible. In summer, a few people can camp in addition to the 6 people in the house by appointment.
