From the cottage itself or from your hammock or the veranda you have a wonderful view over the fields and yard. The studio is the bedroom with a double bed (if desired, this bed can be split into 2 single beds, to be indicated in advance. The adjoining room is called studio and is your private living room or study. In the studio is also a sofa bed. This can possibly sleep a 3rd person (at extra cost, to be arranged in advance). There is a wonderful barrel sauna, bookable for private use! You can find a wonderful natural cooling under the water wheel. All for complete enjoyment or work, or a combination for workation. In the nearby building there is a shared pantry with microwave, refrigerator, plates, glasses, cutlery, dishwashing facilities, kettle, Senseo. Here you can also prepare your own breakfast, unless you have it delivered of course. So do not cook, but make easy things / bake / heat.
Nature and surroundings
In our yard and estate you are already in the midst of nature. The birds are whistling in abundance here. Squirrels can be seen regularly. Horses of the neighbors. Along the old paper mill runs a stream into the forest where you can walk or mountain bike for hours. Then in nearby Park Hoge Veluwe, the beautiful Kootwijkerzand and special Kootwijkerbroek. And the surroundings of Zutphen is also beautiful. Deventer and IJssel are also nice places to visit. Danie; April 19, 2025 General rating:Lovely nice cottage with everything you need. Very good bed and nice shower too. Nice lounge chairs outside where we were able to enjoy the crackling self-stoked fire. Really top.
Heerlijk fijn huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt. Heel goed bed en fijne douche ook. Lekkere lounge stoelen buiten waar wij hebben kunnen genieten van het knisperende zelfgestookte vuurtje. Echt top.
Nature, peace & environment:You walk from the cottage into a nature reserve so have everything within easy reach. Fine spacious grounds of the owners where you also feel welcome to walk around and for example to kick a ball around. Willy and Nico are also very hospitable hosts who visibly enjoy it if you also have a good time. We had a very nice chat with them and really got the feeling that everything is possible and nothing is required. In addition, the barrel sauna was really top. We often go to the sauna and this does not fall short of a good sauna at a complex, so be sure to book even if you may not have experience with it! We will definitely return.
Je loopt vanaf het huisje zo een natuurgebied in dus hebt alles binnen handbereik. Fijn ruim terrein ook van de eigenaren waar je je ook welkom voelt om rond te lopen en bijvoorbeeld een balletje te trappen. Willy en Nico zijn ook zeer gastvrije hosts die er zichtbaar van genieten als jij het ook naar je zin hebt. Erg leuke babbel mee gehad en kregen echt het gevoel van alles mag en niks moet.
Daarnaast was de barrelsauna echt top. We gaan vaak naar de sauna en deze doet niks onder voor een goede sauna bij een complex, zeker bij boeken dus ook al heb je er misschien nog geen ervaring mee!

Nature, peace & environment:We hebben ontzettend genoten van de rust en de ruimte. Het huisje is gelegen aan een prachtig groot natuur gebied waar je uren kunt vermaken. Als enorme pluspunt hebben Willy en Nico een barrelsauna op hun terrein staan, heerlijk om na afloop af te spoelen met het koude water van de de Hamermolen.
