Nature house in Hulst

A special feature of the nature house is that it is largely powered by wood from the surrounding forest. Both the stove, fireplace and sauna are all wood-fired. The wood-fired stove is connected to a heat exchanger that provides hot water and floor heating. You can also cook outside on wood with cast iron pans and you can use an original Ofyr. In short, lovers of peace, wood, fire, outdoor cooking and sauna are sure to find what they are looking for here. If the nature house is not heated with wood there is also an electric boiler for hot water. All 4 seasons are suitable for a stay in the Boshuis. Your peace will be disturbed only by the sounds of birds, the rustling of trees and the crackling of wood fire.

This beautifully restored Boshuis, annex former Hunter's House, is located just northeast of the center of the beautiful and authentic old fortified town of Hulst in the hamlet of Schuddebeurs. The Boshuis is situated on a plot of 4.5 hectares of woodland on which the owner's house is also located with a beautiful park garden around the house of approximately 1 hectare. The Boshuis and the owner's main house are more than 100 m apart and out of each other's sight. The environment of the hamlet is wooded, and is located in the Zeeland-Flemish polder landscape with its beautiful dikes, a beautiful cycling and hiking area. The Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe nature reserve is half an hour away by bicycle, and the Westerschelde beach at Perkpolder is 13 km away. Furthermore, the center of the cities of Antwerp 30 km and Ghent 40 km is relatively close by.
