Celebrate a relaxing vacation in this beautiful, cozy 1890s farmhouse in quiet village with lots to do in the area. Perfect for one or two families or a family reunion. The garden is large, mostly fenced, and with wide views over the fields towards Harlingen (at 4km) and sun until late in the afternoon. The front garden has two picnic tables and plenty of room to play or lie in the sun. In the sheltered backyard you can find a spot under the fruit trees, to read or lounge. There is a spacious living room and well-equipped open kitchen (60m2). One master bedroom on the ground floor, upstairs two doubles,a bed room (2m20 beds) , and a dormitory with 4 beds. A well-equipped kitchen with 5-burner stove, fresh bean coffee maker, Quooker, dishwasher, microwave, bbq and mobile firepit . Ample toys available, good wifi, beamer, and 6 bikes. This nature house is located on the outskirts of the quiet village of Wijnaldum (Winaam in Frisian) and here you can also make nice little trips, walk through the village and its surroundings, see the watchtower, explore the forest and the fishpond, visit the playground (50m on a quiet side street: children can play alone) and play bocce, soccer or table tennis there. You can eat apple pie at a farmhouse within walking distance (not too far even for little ones), or walk or bike to the pumping station at Roptazijl and the sea dyke (2km) for a bite of sea air. Harlingen and the Fries museum, the Eisinga planetarium in Franeker, Sneek, Leeuwaarden, Vlieland and Terschelling are all close by.
