You imagine yourself in paradise the moment you take your rest on the veranda of this lovely cottage in full nature. Below you is your own private lake (6000 square meters) where you can swim, fish and canoe and around you is the serene tranquility of the trees, heath and meadow. All sounds that nature produces are passing ..... delicious bird twittering, toads concert at dusk, grunting of wild boar and badgers at night and rustling of dormice and deer. On the veranda in front and next to the house during the day it is lovely to stay in the sun or cool shade and inside the house remains naturally refreshingly cool even with outside temperatures above 30 degrees. Inside you will find an honest lovely simple forest house where everything is present, kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom and a wood stove. The house is completely off-grid and runs on its own solar energy With right to the name Nature House.
Nature and surroundings
On its own grounds of 3.4 hectares is a good place to be .besides the large lake there are also 2 streams across the site and varies in nature from meadow to forest and heath. Do you feel like walking there are plenty of hiking trails (and bicycle routes) in the area. A nice walk of about 25 km. starts near the house and from Meuzac are several nice shorter routes through the area. Meuzac is a stone's throw from Limoges, a beautiful historic city and also Uzerche, Tulle and Brive are super to visit. Incidentally, Sarlat and Périgueux are also nice day trips. In short ....het is blissful to get bored and unwind at Les Auges but you come days too short if you want to see everything.
