Nature house in Wibrin

At first glance, it seemed fine. It has everything you need.

Buuuut, there were definitely a few things that were disappointing.
-The bed was absolutely terrible. So bad that I ended up sleeping on a lounge chair from the garden on the second-to-last night. We spent the last night at home. It was the first time we’ve ever cut a vacation short and gone home early.
-No comfort. The chairs and bar stools are terribly uncomfortable. We ended up using a garden chair for that too.
-There were quite a few mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinet. Also in the bowls and pans stored inside.
-The staircase leading upstairs is really in bad shape. It’s practically falling apart. It clearly needs maintenance.
-Upstairs, it’s incredibly stuffy; you can choose to open the skylights, but then you’ll immediately have a thousand mosquitoes inside. A screen would solve this.

The cottage is small but basically fine. But really, only for one or two nights. I’d definitely advise against staying longer than that. It’s not a vacation cottage, nor is it a “nature” cottage. It’s in need of renovation, especially the bed.

Op eerste gezicht leek het prima. Alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt.

Maaaaar, er waren echt wel wat punten wat tegen viel.
-Het bed was mega slecht. Zo slecht dat ik de een na laatste nacht op een ligbed uit de tuin ben gaan slapen. De laatste nacht hebben we tuis doorgebracht. De eerst keer dat we eerder naar huis zijn gegaan van vakantie.
-Geen comfort. De stoelen en bar krukjes zitten vreselijk. Ook hier maar een tuinstoel voor gepakt.
-In het aanrecht kastje lagen aardig muizenkeutels. Ook in de bakjes/pannen die daar in stonden.
-De trap naar boven is echt wel slecht. Valt bijna uit elkaar. Dit moet gewoon onderhoud hebben.
-Boven is het enorm benauwd, je kunt er voor kiezen om de dakraampjes open te zetten, maar dan heb je meteen duizend muggen binnen. Een hor zou dit oplossen.

Het huisje is klein maar in principe prima. Maar dan echt voor een of twee nachten. Langer dan dat zou ik echt afraden. Geen vakantie huisje, geen NATUUR huisje. Is aan vernieuwing toe, vooral het bed.

Peace and quiet, space—you can't give it a high enough rating. The scenery was beautiful. The cottage isn't surrounded by nature.

Rust, ruimte, kun je geen voldoende geven. De natuur was prachtig. Huisje staat niet in natuur

The cottage was small but cozy. The surroundings were beautiful—perfect for unwinding completely! The cottage was clean and well-maintained, the check-in instructions we received were clear, and the owners were friendly and quick to respond to our questions. All in all, a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend it.

Het huisje was klein maar fijn. De omgeving was prachtig, perfect om even helemaal tot rust te komen! Het huisje was netjes en goed onderhouden, de instructies die we kregen rondom inchecken waren duidelijk en de eigenaren waren fijn en snel qua contact en vragen beantwoorden. Al met al een hele fijne ervaring! Zeker een aanrader

It was a quiet and cozy little cottage; we were right next to a road, but there wasn't much traffic. The description mentioned that it might be busier during the holidays, but we didn't even notice that!

Het was een rustig en fijn huisje, we zaten wel langs een weg maar hier reden weinig auto’s. In de beschrijving stond nog dat het drukker kon zijn vanwege de vakanties maar zelfs daar hadden we geen last van!

What we really liked was that there were two bottles of La Chouffe waiting for us :-)
It was also very clean and tidy!

Wat we erg leuk vonden was dat er 2 flesjes La Chouffe voor ons klaar stonden :-)
Verder was het erg schoon en netjes!

It's a cozy and clean little house, fully equipped with all the amenities.
Since the garden borders the street, you can sometimes hear a car driving by, but it's still a wonderful place to sit and relax!

Het is een knus en schoon huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien.
Doordat de tuin aan de weg grenst hoor je soms een auto langs rijden, maar je kunt heerlijk zitten in de tuin!
