Nature house in Hülsen

House was perfect, just hard to find at first.

Huis was perfect, alleen lastig in het begin te vinden.

Lovely quiet cottage, ideal for walking with dogs.

Heerlijk rustig huisje, ideaal om met honden te wandelen.

Fine cottage, nicely furnished. Lovely terrace and shower. There is a closet with all the games and at the front of the house there is a fire pit and you can make a campfire.

Fijn huisje, mooi ingericht. Heerlijk terras en douche. Er is een kast met allemaal spelletjes en aan de voorkant van het huis is een vuurplaats en kun je een kampvuurtje maken.

It is a fantastic place and very quiet. We enjoyed the many birds in the garden. Nuthatches, goldfinches, chiffchaff, woodpeckers.... Too many to mention. And we also saw the occasional squirrel, hedgehog and salamander. And lots of frogs! Otherwise, it is wonderfully quiet. Apart from the rustling of the trees and the sounds of the animals, you hear nothing. For us, this was the ideal vacation. We have not been very active, but we did go for some nice walks, to the village of Westen for example. And we found Verden a very nice town. There you can also take nice walks and we also went out for dinner.

Het is een fantastische plek en heel rustig. We hebben genoten van de vele vogels in de tuin. Boomklevers, puttertjes, tjiftjaf, spechten…. Teveel om op te noemen. En we zagen ook af en toe een eekhoorntje, een egel en een salamander. En heel veel kikkers! Het is verder heerlijk stil. Afgezien van het ruizen van de bomen en de geluiden van de dieren hoor je niets. Voor ons was dit de ideale vakantie. We zijn niet heel actief geweest, wel lekker gewandeld, naar het dorpje Westen bijvoorbeeld. En we vonden Verden een heel leuke stad. Ook daar kun je leuk wandelen en we zijn er ook uit eten geweest.

We had a relaxing vacation. Good to know for dog owners: The property is not fenced, but our dogs (2) don't run away either. Swimming is also possible in a small hidden bay. The landlord is very nice and available if there are any questions (there were some during our first stay). The WiFi is fast, the beds are excellent, but there is a lack of insect protection in front of the windows. But we could live with that...the doors and windows were closed in the evening.

Wir hatten einen erholsamen Urlaub. Für Hundebesitzer gut zu wissen: Das Grundstück ist nicht umzäunt, unsere Hunde (2) laufen aber auch nicht weg.
Baden ist in einer kleinen versteckten Bucht auch möglich.
Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und erreichbar, wenn es Fragen gibt (die gab es bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt).
Das WLAN ist schnell, die Betten sind ausgezeichnet, es fehlt allerdings an Insektenschutz vor den Fenstern. Aber damit konnten wir leben...abends waren die Türen und Fenster eben zu.

We have booked this cottage for the 3rd time and I think that speaks for itself. It is comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need. The surroundings are secluded, close to the Aller and with lots of trees. There are plenty of leisure activities, and since last year there is also a canoe rental 20 minutes away by car: Bosse Boot Kanuverleih. We had a great tour with pick-up service.

Wir haben dieses Häuschen zum 3. Mal gebucht und das spricht, denke ich für sich. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist abgelegen, nah an der Aller und mit viel Baumbestand.
Freizeitaktivitäten sind ausreichend vorhanden, seit letztem Jahr auch 20 Autominuten entfernt ein Kanuverleih: Bosse Boot Kanuverleih. Wir hatten eine tolle Tour mit Abholservice.
