The nature house is located in a special place in Friesland. On the ground floor you will find a spacious hall, two large bedrooms, shower, toilet and a spacious kitchen. Upstairs you will find a nice box bed, a spacious living and dining area and a kitchenette. The group room can also be perfectly used for a workshop. In addition to the group accommodation there are also small-scale accommodations such as 2 tree houses, two log cabins, a chapel and an ark. These can also be rented in combination with the group accommodation for example for a family weekend or workshop. All cottages are also great to rent in the winter, something like winter camping but just a little different. There is also a wood-fired sauna (17.50 euros for 1 hour) available in the yard, please check with the owner on the day of arrival whether this is possible.
Nature and surroundings
For lovers of culture, history, peace and space, the home port is centrally located between the Frisian Eleven cities of Bolsward, Sneek, Leeuwarden and Franeker. At two kilometers walking, cycling or boating distance, is the picturesque village of Easterein, where the medieval church and Frisian (film) café-restaurant are worth a visit. You soon become impressed by the beautiful farms, picturesque meadows and waterways. To enjoy these waterways, canoes and pedal boats are available for rent on site. Terherne, where the books of the Kameleon come to life for children, is easily accessible from this location. A visit to the various Frisian Eleven towns nearby is all worthwhile. Franeker, for example, has the oldest working planetarium in the world, which can be visited. Renske August 25, 2023 General rating:Heel fijn huisje met veel eigen ruimte, een grote tuin. Je sprint zo het water in om te zwemmen in de ochtend. Enige tip: er zijn geen donkere gordijnen in de slaapkamers dus wil je lekker uitslapen kan je een masker meenemen :)
Nature, peace & environment:Wij hebben een heel fijn (vrienden) weekend gehad op het kleine paradijs. We hebben genoten van de rust en de ruimte. Mathijs is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. We raden we plek zeker aan. Dankjewel!
