Nature house in a large garden behind the Waaldijk. The nature house consists of a ground floor with two rooms, a simple kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, kitchenware), and a small bathroom with a shower, toilet, urinal, and sink. One of the rooms is furnished as a cozy living room and has a sleeping loft with a double bed, accessible via a fixed staircase. The other room downstairs accommodates two single beds (the bunk bed shown in the photo has been converted into a single bed). Upstairs, there is another sleeping loft with two single beds. That makes a total of 6 beds, but with adults, the rest of the cottage will feel quite crowded. It’s manageable for 2 adults with several children. The cottage heats up well with gas and infrared heaters. The landlord would like to contact the renter before confirming the booking. Duvets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own bedding (mattress cover, duvet cover, and pillowcase). During the summer months, the pool is set up in the garden. Jacuzzi available upon request :-) Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
In a beautiful spot on the floodplains of the Waal River stands a residential and educational farm, with your little cottage in the garden. Through the windows all around, you can see the naturally landscaped garden, which invites you to stroll through it and unwind. Behind the dike lies the Hurnse Kil nature reserve. It’s a great place for walking, biking, and swimming—and, in winter, ice skating! If you’re looking for a bit more action, take a beautiful walk along the dike or hop on a bike to historic Zaltbommel. Here you’ll find a full range of shops and, of course, cozy terraces both inside and outside the town gates.

In het natuurhuisje van Joram hebben wij een ontzettend fijn en rustgevend weekend gehad. We hebben genoten van al het groen om ons heen, de vogels die we hoorden fluiten en het kampvuur waar we tot laat in de avond hebben gezeten. Het is een fantastisch mooie plek waar we ontzettend warm werden ontvangen. Wij willen graag Joram bedanken voor zijn ongelofelijke gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid. Zodra het weer kan, komen we graag terug!
dicht bij de. waal, een grote tuin waar we veel vogels hebben horen zingen, prachtig!
