Nature house in Heerde

Where asphalt turns into dirt roads, just a few minutes walk from forest and heath, you will find The Field Road. A solid wood log house for 1 to 4 people, which offers you all the comfort and privacy for a nice stay. The log house with pellet stove has a cozy living room in Scandinavian style with French doors to the veranda. From here you have a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. There is a separate bedroom for 2 persons on the ground floor and an attractive sleeping loft also for 2 persons, accessible via a wooden staircase. Both bedrooms are equipped with comfortable box springs. The spacious bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Towels are provided. The pantry is equipped with a coffee machine (incl.coffee and tea), small refrigerator, a one-burner induction plate to prepare something simple, a microwave, plates, cutlery and cups and glasses. In the (nearby) area is plenty of choice of restaurants. Breakfast can be booked.

The nature house is freely located in the countryside just outside Heerde and offers unobstructed views over the surrounding meadows, with within walking distance the Zwolse Bos, the heath of the Tonnenberg and also the Heerderstrand. From the veranda you have a view over the surrounding countryside and can see the sun rise and set. Chances are that at dusk you will be joined by little owls that have their nest nearby. Or green woodpeckers flying by, hares playing in the meadow, or if you are lucky even a badger showing itself. The Zwolse Bos is in direct connection with the rest of the Veluwe, with areas such as the Wezepse Heide, the Renderklippen near Epe, or the Kroondomeinen near Gortel and Vierhouten. On the other side is the basin of the river IJssel, with its picturesque landscapes. With picturesque villages like Vorchten and Veessen, beautiful views and the imposing structures of the high-water channel, this area is definitely worth exploring.
