A monumental farm located in a prominent place in the church village of Balgoij in the Land of Maas and Waal. The farm is surrounded by approximately 7500 m2 of land, where there is plenty to see and do. We have 2 goats, some sheep, 2 mini ponies, chickens, cats and a dog. We live as self-sufficiently as possible with our vegetable garden, fruit trees, but also flowers have an important place in the gardens. In the garden there are places to sit everywhere. The farmhouse is split into a front and back house and in a part of the back house is the apartment. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms with sinks, a separate toilet, a spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower and sink. You can add 2 extra beds (extra cost) and 1 toddler bed (extra cost). Downstairs is a room with full, but simple kitchen equipment, which can be used by several people. Courses/workshops and the like are sometimes held here.
Nature and surroundings
Land van Maas en Waal is part of the river area, whose landscape is determined by the great rivers, which have repeatedly shifted over the centuries. A landscape of rivers and dikes, old river channels, picturesque villages, floodplains, farms with meadows, fields and orchards. Nijmegen is the nearest city and offers much in the way of culture, entertainment, etc. Den Bosch and Arnhem are about half an hour away by car.
