Or go for a cultural trip to the ancient city of Trier. Enjoy the peace in the village of Hunolstein, visit the ruins, take walks in the area or the famous Klammtour and enjoy an aperitif or lunch in the Bauernhof cafe. You can make wonderful bicycle or mountain bike tours (also along the Mosel) in the hills of the Hunsrück or to the small villages in the area. Discover the history and culture of the area and visit one of the many castles and ruins (highly recommended: Burg Eltz). Or enjoy the view on the terrace or in the conservatory .An EV charger is also available, for a fee. Nature and surroundings
The Hunsrück region is bordered by the rivers Moselle, Nahe and Rhine. It is popular among hikers and one of the most beautiful low mountain ranges in Germany with forests, meadows and river valleys. The nature villa is 25 kilometers from the Mosel with all its lovely villages and towns, such as Bernkastel Kues, Traben Trabach, Neumagen Drohn and Piesport. The ancient city of Trier with its many Unesco listed sights is a 40 kilometer drive from the Villa. Nearby Morbach is known as an air-cure resort. In this village all stores for daily shopping are available. Nearby is also Idar Oberstein, known for its semi-precious stone industry, and its many grinding mills. Definitely worth a visit!
