An apartment with all the trimmings. We were especially struck by the colors, shapes and materials used. And of course Schouwen Duiveland is a beautiful island!

Een appartement met alles erop en eraan. Ons troffen vooral de kleuren, de vormen en de gebruikte materialen. En Schouwen Duiveland is natuurlijk een schitterend eiland!

One small point of improvement perhaps: the gap between those mattresses, we could have used a mattress wedge between them :)

Een klein verbeterpuntje misschien: de spleet tussen die matrassen, daar mocht van ons wel een matraswig tussen :)

The rave reviews already below are all true. It is a lovely cottage, small but spick and span, spotlessly clean and fresh yet warm and cozy. Just in front of the large windows it teems with birds and from the cottage there are beautiful hiking trails through the nature reserve. Kees and Marjolijn are very hospitable and discreet; although the cottage is in their yard you feel completely alone. The sauna is delicious. So was the cake! In the vicinity are nice villages to go to (including Zierikzee highly recommended) and beautiful beaches nearby. Really nice days. Thanks Kees and Marjolijn!

De lovende beoordelingen die hieronder al staan zijn allemaal waar. Het is een heerlijk huisje, klein maar piekfijn, brandschoon en fris maar toch warm en knus. Vlak voor de de grote ramen wemelt het van de vogels en vanuit het huisje lopen prachtige wandelpaden door het natuurgebied. Kees en Marjolijn zijn heel gastvrij en discreet; hoewel het huisje op hun erf staat waan je je helemaal alleen. De sauna is heerlijk. De cake was dat ook! In de nabije omgeving leuke dorpjes om naar op pad te gaan (oa Zierikzee een aanrader) en mooie stranden in de buurt. Echt hele fijne dagen gehad. Dank Kees en Marjolijn!

Nog geen '10' vanwege de afstand wc-slaapkamer.

It was a lovely cottage, must have underfloor heating! The only drawback for us was that the toilet was downstairs and the bedroom was upstairs. We are 70+ and sometimes have to go to the toilet at night. But the stairs were well lit and in the hall downstairs the light came on automatically. The cottage was completely furnished, you could live there like this. The bright colors suited our taste. In short, highly recommended. We were unlucky with the weather, it rained a lot so we had to drive the car a lot. We did not bring the bikes because of the bad weather forecast.

Het was een heerlijk huisje, moet vloerverwarming! Het enige nadeel voor ons was dat de wc beneden was en de slaapkamer boven. Wij zijn 70+ en moeten soms 's nachts even naar de wc. Maar de trap was goed verlicht en in de hal beneden ging het licht automatisch aan. Het huisje was compleet ingericht, je zou er zó kunnen wonen. De vrolijke kleuren pasten helemaal bij onze smaak. Kortom, een echte aanrader. Wij hadden pech met het weer, het regende nogal veel dus we moesten veel met de auto rijden. De fietsen hadden niet meegenomen vanwege de slechte weersvooruitzichten.
