Nature house in Hegebeintum

Unique detached vacation home overlooking our fields and the historic mound of Hegebeintum. For people who love peace, nature, wide vistas and beautiful clouds. The nature house is located next to our head-neck-hull farm, on the edge of the fields where hares, pheasants and sometimes deer know their way around. We do not want to "close off" the cottage from this beautiful environment, this makes it less suitable to stay here with small children. The nature house has a spacious living room with kitchen, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and Senseo coffee machine. The bathroom has underfloor heating. Around the house there is space to enjoy the surroundings, also there is a terrace with a covered area. There is room for two hammocks (available!) for a real vacation feeling.

Hegebeintum has the highest terp in the Netherlands, with an old Romanesque church with a unique collection of funeral plates. Also enjoy the nearby seawall of the Wadden Sea (UNESCO World Heritage Site). In the vicinity there is plenty to do, such as mudflat hiking, cycling, sailing, a day trip to Ameland or a visit to the cozy town of Dokkum or Leeuwarden.
