We spent 5 days here in a group of 10 people including children and had nothing to complain about. Although you have to live with the cold corridor between the rooms in winter, the kitchen and bathroom were well heated. Otherwise everything you need, very well equipped communal kitchen and in summer the semi-open barn in the garden is certainly a hit.

Quiet detached house with 5 individual apartments and a large communal kitchen and dining room. We rented all 5 apartments together, but it is also possible to rent them separately. The surroundings are very quiet and green, by car you can reach the Lauwersmeer in 10 minutes and the beach in 15 minutes. Plenty of cycling and hiking trails in the area, also great opportunities for birdwatchers. Very nice hosts who were always available for questions.
