Last-minute detached vacation home (Aug. 15–18) for €90 per night. Are you looking for peace, space, and nature? This nature house is comfortable and located in the middle of the forest, right next to a beautiful Natura 2000 area. You can step right out the front door and into nature. At night, it gets truly pitch-black and dead quiet here. Ideally located: no through traffic, a large wooded garden (900 m²) that’s fully fenced, and your dog is more than welcome! Modern comforts: luxury kitchen (dishwasher, combination microwave, Nespresso), central heating, high-speed internet, smart TV, books, and board games. A spacious and bright living room, and a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower on the ground floor. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms (one with a balcony), an additional toilet, and a washing machine. Extras: child-friendly (playpen, high chair, stair gate), carport with charging station, and bike storage. Our adjacent 2-person forest cottage “Kuifmees” (41087) is also available for rent. Walk along the boardwalk or visit the Bekendelle stream forest, Het Woold, or Zwillbrock in Germany with its wild flamingos. Climb the observation towers for spectacular views. Cyclists will be in heaven: Winterswijk has the longest continuous MTB trail in the Netherlands. You can rent bikes through a convenient delivery and pickup service. The Trimbos is within walking distance. Just 2 kilometers away lies the charming center of Winterswijk. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, visit the lively main market around the Grote Kerk. Winterswijk offers plenty of restaurants, clothing stores, supermarkets, a movie theater, ice cream parlors, and Theater De Storm. Working from home is also a breeze thanks to the super-fast internet.
