Nature and surroundings
Our farm stands on the dike. From the dike you look at the river Meuse. At 2 to 3 minutes walk, you splash in the dead branch of the river for a refreshing dip. Alphen is a small village with secretly more to offer than imagined. We have several restaurants and eateries. Enjoying a drink at the harbor with beautiful views or eating homemade cake in the tea garden are things we often enjoy. The nearest supermarket (Jumbo) is 4 km away. We have a bicycle with shopping bags that you can borrow for free to do your shopping. Along the dike there is a lot of recreation in the form of campsites, harbors and things to do on the water. There are many bicycle routes here that take you through the ribbon villages along the rivers. We live between the 2 major rivers in the Land of Maas and Waal. Within the circle between Oss, Den Bosch, Nijmegen and Tiel. If you come by public transport, we can pick you up at bus station Nieuwstraat in Dreumel.
