You can cycle endlessly here. Many beautiful bicycle routes have already been mapped out for you. On beautiful country roads, on the beautiful bike paths along the river Ee from Dokkum to Bartlehiem and beyond. Of course you can rent a bike with us. Or how about hiking? There are numerous walking routes. Along terps, over the vast salt marshes (the largest in the Netherlands) and the Wadden dike to villages such as Paesens and Moddergat. Or through the northern Frisian Wâlden, a vast forest area with monumental villages such as Veenklooster, Oenkerk and Tytsjerk with their beautiful walking parks. Here you will also find the cozy and northernmost elf city Dokkum with its cozy terraces and fine restaurants. In short, lots to see and do. So really enjoy.

Directly around our farm you will enjoy a lovely sun terrace in the garden facing south. Here are several seats waiting for you. At the back of our former farmyard you can enjoy a wide view over the meadows with meadow birds. And feel free to take a look in 'our' 11th century church, a true time capsule with ancient church attributes where you will experience an unprecedented silence. Or sit in our new veranda, experience the rich nature that is enhanced by the river Ee. Along here you can make beautiful walks or bicycle tours, or sail in a canoe or motorboat.
