The Turfhoeke is rural, about 2.5 kilometers outside the thriving village of Gorredijk, in the southeast corner of Friesland called De Friese Wouden. A unique landscape of meadows and water, but also of peat reclamations, moors, forests and streams. The Turfhoeke is a great starting point if you like walking, cycling, fishing or boating.
