Are you looking for a vacation full of peace, space and relaxation, then this vacation home is for you! Superbly located in the middle of the green meadow heart of Friesland with beautiful views. The nature house is detached and has - a living room of over 45 square meters with lots of windows and light - a kitchen with dishwasher; - a complete inventory (you only need to bring washcloths and towels); - bedroom with two single beds separated from the living room by a sliding wall; - a bathroom with shower; - a separate toilet; all on the ground floor - a terrace in front and behind with garden furniture; - a large color TV with a TV subscription and fiber optic internet. There is ample parking at the nature house for both a car and bicycles.
Nature and surroundings
What makes this vacation home special is that it is the village house of the small Frisian mound village of Iens (NL: Edens). This village, which has about 40 inhabitants, is located in the city-triangle of Leeuwarden, Sneek and Bolsward. It is picturesquely situated, on a dead-end road. The village house has a magnificent view and is situated on a canoe route, a beautiful bicycle path along the Bolswardervaart, It Fryske Ferse Paad (a poetry route through the landscape) and the Elfsteden bicycle route (230 km long). The church of Iens is also well worth a visit. Moreover, very suitable as a base for visiting Leeuwarden, in 2018 Cultural Capital and the 11 Frisian fountains.
