You wake up slowly, outside the birds compete for the most beautiful song, every morning a unique concert. You make a cup of coffee and step outside into nature, surrounded by trees, nature sounds and you feel peace...We would like to give you a wonderful experience of relaxation and tranquility in one of our beautiful chalets.The nature house is suitable for 2 people and is located in a sheltered place with lots of privacy. The cottage has a comfortable sitting area with television (Dutch channels), kitchen (crockery and cutlery, Senseo, kettle, refrigerator and microwave), bathroom (sink, shower, toilet) and bedroom. If you bring (electric) bicycles, you can also choose a cottage with storage, which is equipped with electricity.You must bring your own bed linen and towels, comforter and pillows are provided. In the toilet building there is a washing machine, which you can use.Limited wifi around the central building * Renting only for vacation guests
Nature and surroundings
The forest park is located in the municipality of Westerkwartier (GN), in the outskirts of Marum. The park is easily accessible via the A7 and has a central location near the ''Three Provinces Point'' of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, which gives you access to the most beautiful nature reserves of the North!In the immediate vicinity it is wonderful to relax in the nature reserves of the Forestry Commission, such as Trimunt, the Jiltdijksheide and Curringherveld, a little further away you can make beautiful walks on the Bakkeveen sand dunes or visit the National Park the Alde Feanen where you can walk, cycle or spend a day on the water. Exploring the area on a bicycle or E-Chopper? These can be rented at Partycentrum Strandheem approximately 2.5 km away.For daily shopping you can go to Marum (7 minutes by car), Opende or Surhuisterveen (7 and 11 minutes by car) Cozy day trip to the city? That is possible, at 20-30 minutes away are Drachten, Groningen and Leeuwarden.

Carsten July 31, 2020 General rating:Das Chalet ist schön und modern eingerichtet.
Die Küche verfügte neben dem Gasherd mit 4 Kochplatten über eine Senseo Pad-Kaffeemaschine, eine Filtermaschine, einen Wasserkocher und eine Mikrowelle.
Das Wohnzimmer war gemütlich und einladend eingerichtet. Der Fernsehr verfügt über eine Digitalantenne.
Das Badezimmer war sauber und entsprach den Bildern.
Das Schlafzimmer lag ganztägig im Schatten und war somit Nachts trotz heißem Wetter im Vergleich zu den anderen Räumen abgekühlt.Nature, peace & environment:Der Platz ist abgelegen und direkt an einem Wald gelegen. Bis auf vereinzelte Stimmen von den Bewohnern der benachbarten Chalets war es hier ruhig.
Nachts waren jedoch die nahe gelegene Autobahn A7 zu hören (ab 19 Uhr gilt hier 120 Km/h). Darüber hinaus befindet sich eine Motorcross-Strecke (Motorclub Marum eo) in hörbarer Nähe, welche zwei Mal die Woche für ca. 3 Stunden genutzt wird (Stand 08.08.2020, Informationen der Website). Das hat uns aber nicht gestört.
Der Wald und die Umgebung laden zum spazieren ein. Auf den umliegenden Weiden grasen viele Kühe, Schafe und Ziegen. Täglich frische Milch und Eier können bei einem benachbarten Bauern gekauft werden (Melktap Trimunt).
