In the former farmhouse is a space created for rest and enjoyment. The spacious room (25 m2) is comfortable and tastefully decorated with plenty of privacy. There is a private entrance with toilet and luxury bathroom. By popular request, a small kitchenette has recently been added, so that guests can do their own thing. In the morning, on request, we prepare a luxurious breakfast that you can eat in the room or in the garden. In consultation, much is possible. The residence is easily accessible by public transport (the bus stops right in front of the door). A dog is welcome (for a daily fee).
Nature and surroundings
The farm stands in a 1.5-acre yard, arranged as a garden with different themes. For example, there is an orchard, pinetum, vegetable garden and herb garden. The garden is freely accessible and is at the same time a starting point for various (forest) walks. The area is very suitable for cycling and walking. The national parks Drents-Friese Wold, Dwingelderveld, Weerribben-de Wieden, Holtingerveld are easily accessible from this nature house. Also the dolmens of Drenthe are not far away as well as the Unesco World Cultural Heritage Colonies of Weldadigheid. For walking and cycling there are almost unlimited possibilities, an Eldorado for lovers of nature, peace and cultural history.
