Nature house in Amélie les Bains Palada

Welcome to this nature house! Along a centuries-old footpath that in the past connected the mountains farms and villages, lies our Bergerie, nestled in the wooded foothills of Roc Savador. To reach it from our Mas requires a 10-minute walk up the mountain and is only suitable for people who are in good condition, since it is only accessible on foot. The Bergerie is a spacious, fully furnished, accommodation of 11 x 6 meters with a wonderful new, translucent roof. It has a large stove with oven and a simple cold water supply. It is free of electricity, solar cells and rechargeable batteries are used for lamps and the large cool box. 8 persons can sleep in its unique bedroom. The Bergerie has no bathroom but an external compost toilet. A warm shower can be used at our Mas. From the sunny terrace, with picnic table and chairs directly above the house, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Pyrenees.

The nature house is an isolated place in the French Pyrénées, where you will enjoy the peacefulness to relax and rest, meditate and fall asleep with the owls singing. During day time, you will be able to swim the the calm river and its natural pools, explore the area, horse-riding or just reading and napping in a hamac! Nearby in the valley, you can visit Céret or Amélie les Bains. Céret is famous thanks to the many painters who stayed there and its museum is beatiful, as well as the market on Saturday mornings. Amélie le Bains has thermal baths and is renowned since antiquity! The Mediterranean coast is an hour drive from the house. You will be able to visit the cute villages of Collioure and Banyuls, have a swim in the sea and why not scuba diving!
