Nature house in Voorthuizen

A lovely cottage with all the trimmings! It’s so cozy to walk in with candles and lights on and stroopwafels :-)
Clear and helpful communication about the cottage (check-in/check-out) via emails, text messages, and little signs (with instructions) inside the house.

Fijn huis met alles erop en eraan! Gezellig binnenkomen met kaarsjes en lampjes aan en stroopwafels :-)
Goede/duidelijke communicatie over het huisje (aankomst/vertrek) door mailtjes, appjes en kleine bordjes (met aanwijzingen) in het huis.

Peace, space, and nature were in abundance!
We enjoyed the silence and the greenery—the little birds that came to eat the birdseed, and the squirrel and the little mouse who also loved to eat the birdseed.
We also went on some wonderful bike rides (several beautiful bike paths!), took walks, and soaked up some culture (Museum Nijkerk, Schovenhorst Forest Tower, the Monument to the Putten Roundup, and the Nijkerk steam pumping station in action). And we were so lucky with the weather (only two nights of rain and thunderstorms).

Rust, ruimte en natuur waren volop aanwezig!
We hebben genoten van de stilte en het groen. Van de vogeltjes die vogelvoer kwamen eten, van de eekhoorn en het muisje die ook graag vogelvoer aten.
Verder heerlijk gefietst (diverse mooie fietspaden!), gewandeld en cultuur gesnoven (Museum Nijkerk, Bostoren Schovenhorst, Monument voor de Puttense razzia, stoomgemaal Nijkerk in actie). En wat hadden we mazzel met het weer (alleen 2x 's nachts regen en onweer).

A modern bungalow with a fully equipped kitchen, TV, and Wi-Fi—not exactly what you’d expect from a nature house. The bed mattresses are a bit too soft for our liking. We had cloudy weather, which made the bungalow feel a bit gloomy, as the trees block a lot of light. We were pleasantly surprised by the bird feed, the bike, the hammock, and the outdoor lounge chairs, and the dog fence that you can set up yourself.

Moderne bungalow, complete keuken, TV, Wifi, verwacht je niet direct bij een natuurhuisje. Bed matrassen zijn voor ons wat te zacht. Wij hadden bewolkt weer, dan is de bungalow wel wat somber, want de bomen houden veel licht tegen. Aangenaam verrast door het vogelvoer, de fiets, hangmat en relaxstoelen voor buiten en de zelf te plaatsen hondenafrastering.

Spacious bungalow with plenty of outdoor space. Very quiet location; the bungalows are situated on a small lane, so there are only neighbors to the left and right (whom we didn’t hear). In the middle of the forest, lots of woods, though a bit monotonous, with straight paths and little variety. Birds and a squirrel near the bungalow.

Ruime bungalow met veel buitenruimte. Heel rustig gelegen, de bungalows liggen aan een laantje, dus enkel buren links en rechts (die we niet vernomen hebben). Midden in het bos, erg veel bos, wel een beetje saai, rechte paden, weinig afwisseling. Vogels en eekhoorntje bij de bungalow.

How much we enjoyed our stay! The cottage is in a truly beautiful location, surrounded by nature and with lots of privacy. The presence of the many birds and squirrels gave every day something special and made us feel really connected with the environment. The cottage was clean, well cared for and fully equipped. Especially the peace and quiet and the atmosphere of the place impressed us a lot. In addition, we took full advantage of the beautiful cycling routes in the area. Thanks for your hospitality. Wat hebben wij genoten van ons verblijf! Het huisje ligt op een werkelijk prachtige locatie, midden in de natuur en met veel privacy. De aanwezigheid van de vele vogels en eekhoorntjes gaf iedere dag iets bijzonders en zorgde ervoor dat we ons echt verbonden voelden met de omgeving.

Het huisje was schoon, verzorgd en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vooral de rust en de sfeer van de plek hebben veel indruk op ons gemaakt. Daarnaast hebben we volop gebruikgemaakt van de mooie fietsroutes in de omgeving. Voor natuurliefhebbers is dit echt een ideale uitvalsbasis.
Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid. We kijken terug op een heerlijke week en zullen dit natuurhuisje zeker aanbevelen aan familie en vrienden.

We had a great week in your beautiful nature house. The cottage was wonderfully comfortable and was in a place you can only dream of. We fully enjoyed the tranquility, the many birds and the curious squirrels that regularly came by. Also the area was perfect for cycling. We have made beautiful trips and fully enjoyed nature and the beautiful surroundings. In short: an absolute must for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and completely unwind in nature. We hebben een geweldige week gehad in jullie prachtige natuurhuisje. Het huisje was heerlijk comfortabel en lag op een plek waar je alleen maar van kunt dromen. We hebben volop genoten van de rust, de vele vogels en de nieuwsgierige eekhoorntjes die regelmatig langskwamen.
Ook de omgeving was perfect om te fietsen. We hebben prachtige tochten gemaakt en volop genoten van de natuur en de mooie omgeving.
Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die even wil ontsnappen aan de drukte en helemaal tot rust wil komen in de natuur. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf!
