Nature house in Appelscha

In our nature house in Appelscha you spend the night close to the cow, close to the farmer and close to nature. With all the good things farm life has to offer! Our dairy farm is located on the edge of the Drents Friese Wold. Enjoy the tranquility, beautiful surroundings and get to know the real farm life. The nature house has a spacious living room, kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, coffee facilities, oven and dishwasher. A bedroom with comfortable box spring bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is a spacious bathroom with washing machine, shower and toilet. From your balcony you have a view of the stable and our cows. Both your dog (€10,00 per night) and horse (€17,50 p.p.p.n.) are welcome. A visit to the splash pond is not to be missed. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen are provided. The Drents Friese Wold is the second largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. Dusty sand, rolling dunes, beautiful heath and magnificent forests to swampy marsh and quiet fens. A surprisingly varied nature reserve. Over 130 kilometers of hiking trails take you along the most beautiful spots. Various walks are regularly organized, such as a silence walk or a full moon walk. In addition, the nearby village has much to offer: the beautiful visitor center within walking distance, the 33m high forest mountain tower, many annual events, the observation tower on the bare dunes, characteristic villages in the area, the forest pool and an amusement park are some examples.
