In our yard you will find animals, a vegetable garden and cozy corners. Everything is nice and back to basics, but everything you need is there. In 2019 the idea arose to turn caravans into fine places to stay. We now rent out three unique places, furnished with lots of love and second-hand materials. The caravan is suitable for you alone or together. Everything is provided: cooking utensils, towels and a made bed on arrival. Each caravan has its own place with a canopy. There are hammocks, a shared bathroom and an outdoor sink. We are hospitable, but also respect your peace and quiet: nothing must, everything is allowed.Good to know: you park for free. Coming by public transport? Then you can travel via Dreumel, Wamel or Tiel. We can pick you up or drop you off there for a small fee.
Nature and surroundings
We live in Alphen aan de Maas, a small and elongated village along the river. Our yard borders the dike, where you have a beautiful view of the water and floodplains. The area is perfect for walking and cycling along dikes, river landscapes and quiet roads. 2 to 3 minutes walk away is a small lake (the dead branch of the Maas) where you can swim and cool off on hot days. In the village you will find cozy places like "Bij van alles een bietje" for coffee and lunch with a homely feel and "Onder de Groene Hemel", a tea garden with delicious homemade goodies (personal favorite!) The supermarket is about 4 km away. We are centrally located between Oss, Den Bosch, Nijmegen and Tiel: a nice place to relax and explore the area!

Completely fulfilled my need for rest!

Super nice and beautiful location with very nice hosts. So the cottage is a caravan and it is completely tip-top furnished, with a very personal atmosphere. Really cozy. The canopy on the front and side, along with the bench and the table with 2 chairs, makes it very quick to sit outside comfortably. The shower and toilet are in the main building. Even there it is neat and well cared for, with again very personal touches. The place is nice and green and a bit rough even in spring, but in summer it must really be a green opulence. What I liked is that the river Waal is really within walking distance and there are all the water birds flying over regularly. Really highly recommended to unwind.

De plek is zelfs in het voorjaar al lekker groen en beetje ruig, maar in de zomer moet het echt een groene weelde zijn. Wat ik leuk vond is dat de rivier de Waal echt op loopafstand is en er geregeld allemaal watervogels overvliegen.
