Nature house in Ruurlo

This brand new nature house (June 2020) is located on a small forest park on a dirt road, just 1.5 km from the village of Ruurlo. The lodge is tastefully decorated, warm and rural, and breathes the intimate atmosphere of a really cozy forest house. From the French doors, sit back under the covered veranda, where you can enjoy the outdoors until the wee hours of the morning. In the living room you look up to the ridge of the roof, wonderfully spacious! The country kitchen has an oven/microwave and dishwasher. The lodge has two bedrooms on the ground floor and a cozy sleeping loft on the 1st floor, all equipped with very comfortable box-spring beds. The atmospheric GAS fireplace in the living room completes the forest feeling. Smoke and pet free! Suitable for max. 4 adults and 2 children. Note: There may be corn on the land (July / October) Our park is wonderfully situated in the countryside. This of course includes the smells and sounds of the farmers.

This nature house is located in the ancient landscape of the Achterhoek, in the far east of Gelderland, and this shows a different face behind every bend. Forests, moors and small meadows between wooded banks alternate. Near the frog pools you can hear the noisy concerts of the tree frogs in the spring. If you sit at the edge of a stream, you may see a quick flash of blue passing by: the kingfisher. The Achterhoek is a paradise for unwinding, with its meandering streams, estates, castles and farms and ancient trees. But the Achterhoek is also made for being active. You can walk along sandy or church paths, feel like a cyclist in paradise, go rollerblading, horseback riding, and so on. For children there are so many fun things to do in good and bad weather, such as the Klimbos (climbing forest), the Kabouterpad (gnome trail), a beautiful outdoor swimming pool or wandering through the largest beech hedge maze in Europe.
