Nature house in Aardenburg

As said fine, everything neat, nice authentic house. The only thing you might wonder if it is a typical nature house. It is on a fairly busy street, although that did not bother me, in the built-up area of the town, next to some business premises. View is of a residential area. When you think of a nature house, you still think of something more outdoors, but et is a matter of definition. But I found it a fine stay and quiet enough! Moreover, you can just figure out how the location is, so again, great house for a week out!!!

Zoals gezegd prima, alles netjes, mooi authentiek huis. Het enige wat je je misschien kunt afvragen of het een typisch natuurhuisje is. Het staat aan een redelijk drukke straat, hoewel mij dat niet stoorde, in de bebouwde kom van het stadje, naast wat bedrijfsruimtes. Uitzicht is op een woonwijk. Bij een natuurhuisje denk je toch aan iets meer buitenaf, maar et is een kwestie van definitie. Maar ik vond het een prima verblijf en rustig genoeg! Bovendien kun je even uitzoeken hoe de ligging is, dus nogmaals, prima huis voor een weekje erop uit!!!

Cottage was fine. Even so that we felt we could live there too! Do think that in the summer season, the outdoor space is a bit cramped.

Huisje was prima. Zelfs zo dat we het gevoel hadden er ook wel te kunnen wonen! Denk wel dat in het zomerseizoen, de buitenruimte wat krap is.

Because it does not conform to a nature house: unique places in the middle of nature....

Omdat het niet voldoet aan een natuurhuisje: unieke plekken midden in de natuur...

Why this house, on a through road in Aardenburg, can be rented under nature house is a mystery to me. Although it is located at the beginning of a cul-de-sac, it is still 6 meters from the through road. And there are companies on the cul-de-sac, so the peace was disappointing. The garden is mostly concrete and stones. Small shower, no explanation of the electric fireplace, drafty front door and dirty, especially kitchen and the drawers.

Waarom dit huis, aan een doorgaande weg in Aardenburg, onder natuurhuisje verhuurd kan worden is mij een raadsel.
Het ligt weliswaar aan begin van een doodlopende weg maar dan nog wel 6 meter van de doorgaande weg. En er zitten bedrijven aan de doodlopende weg.
Dus de rust viel tegen.
De tuin is vooral beton en stenen.
Kleine douche, geen uitleg van de elektrische open haard, tochtige voordeur en vies, vooral keuken en de lades.

The house was neat and clean and fully equipped. What we noticed was that the house was next to a company dealing in crop pesticides. This company belongs to the same owner as the house, which we do not think is consistent with our views on nature experience.

Het huis was netjes en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wat ons opviel was dat het huis naast een bedrijf stond waarin gewasbestrijdingsmiddellen worden verhandeld. Dit bedrijf is van dezelfde eigenaar als het huis.
Dit vinden we niet overeenkomen met onze opvattingen over natuurbeleving.

Quiet place, in the center of Aardenburg. This is what we had chosen for ourselves. Plenty of space and nature outside the town.

Rustige plek, in het centrum van Aardenburg. Hier hadden wij zelf voor gekozen. Voldoende ruimte en natuur buiten het stadje.
