Nature house in POMPAIRE

Welcome to this cosy little gîte! The red clay renderings and beautiful wooden framework give this gîte a warm and friendly atmosphere. We've renovated this gite with care and attention to detail, using healthy, local eco-materials (lime and hemp rendering, wood from the farm, etc.). An ideal gite for a romantic or family vacation, in the quiet countryside, surrounded by our animals and in a preserved environment. You'll enjoy a large wooden terrace for meals in the sun and naps in the hammock or deckchairs. The gîte comprises a fully-equipped living room/kitchen, a convertible sofa (2 people), a bathroom with Italian shower, WC and washbasin, a bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm) and a 30 m2 terrace with access to the garden and parking area.

We've been producing organic goat's cheese for over 30 years in a pretty, hilly part of the countryside: the Gâtine Poitevine, in the Deux-Sèvres region of France (nouvelle aquitaine). We recently planted a red berry orchard, which I transform into delicious sorbets and jams. You'll also be close to prestigious destinations: Parthenay; 5 km (medieval town), Puy du fou, Futuroscope, Vendée beaches, Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, châteaux de la loire. And there's no shortage of walking trails, places to visit and places to swim in the area. At the farm, you can feed the goat kids, kouik, our Poitou baudet, or Tina, our Meerens mare, and play with Gaia, our border colie dog. I'd also be delighted to show you around the farm, help milk the goats and visit the cheese dairy.
