Nature house in Wijgmaal

Our Tiny house is in a green oasis of tranquility, yet within biking distance of Leuven. From the nature house you overlook dozens of acres of forest and meadows. Be awakened by the singing of the birds, completely relax on the terrace, cook with the fresh herbs from your personal herb garden and in the evening make it cozy with a campfire in the fire basket. The ideal base for cyclists, horseback riders and hikers who love nature.

The Tiny house is enclosed by natural areas Wijgmaalbroek and Haachts broek. After we moved here in 2016, we wanted the grounds to retain their green character. Therefore, we planted additional wood edges, pollarded trees and fruit trees. The pastures are permanently populated by horses. In the future, we want to continue our commitment to a green environment . For example, we are going to plant additional woodland and flower hedges and ponds will be added. Cycling and walking: Nature reserves Wijgmaalbroek and the Haachtsbroek are within walking distance of the Tiny house. They both offer several marked hiking and biking routes. In addition, car-free bicycle paths along the Leuven-Mechelen canal and along the Demer River are only a few kilometers away.
