Nature house in Denice

This nature house is an authentic farmhouse converted into a vacation home, consisting of 2 apartments with private facilities, therefore suitable for vacations with 2 families. Casa Barisone is always rented as a whole. The house is located on 3.6 acres of private land, including grassland, a lavender field, bongerd and a piece of forest. The front overlooks the valley of the river Bormida and the village of Denice. Acqui Terme is the nearest large town with all amenities. In summer, relax in the swimming pool with salt water system. The sauna and hot tub both wood-fired provide wellness all year round.

The feeling of the flat land, begins after the village of Denice, the houses from then on are a lot further apart, allowing nature to enter and society seems to fade to horizon. Waking up with the sun, watching the steaming morning mist slowly disappear from the valley. To see flora and fauna you don't even have to go out, we share the land and environment with deer, boars, rabbits, hares, badgers, seven sleepers, birds, butterflies, insects and so on. Giuseppe, the farmer who cuts our grass and will soon plant something on the farmland takes care of most of it, we maintain the land around the house and our lavender field. Because we don't go too far in that, the weeds are a feast for bees and butterflies. Fresh herbs like mint, ruccola, parsley, thyme, sage, rosemary are everywhere and in abundance. Walks start at the gate, or discover the different nature on the border with Liguria and Piedmont the possibilities are countless.
