The B&B is situated in the front house of a two hundred year old farmhouse. Through the front door (private entrance) you enter the old living and kitchen which is heated by an AGA stove. A kettle for tea and for coffee there is a Nespresso machine with milk frother. Breakfast can be ordered separately, it will be waiting for you in the fridge and fresh bread every morning in the adjacent hall. The living areas are modern, in the upstairs room is the sleeping area where there are two made single beds (coupled as a double bed). Behind the bedstead doors are the shower and toilet, towels are provided. The nature house is surrounded by a large garden with several seating areas, where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Nature and surroundings
Between the IJssel valley and the Veluwezoom lies the beautiful walking/cycling area estate Voorstonden. Across the B&B lies the beautiful Parkbos, with in the middle a large pond surrounded by a diversity of plants and trees. The area continues into various forest plots including towards the Leusveld estate. The city of Zutphen is about 5 km away. The old town of Bronckhorst can also be reached by ferry via the floodplain. From there over the dike cycling or walking, the beautiful Hanseatic city Doesburg to visit.
