Renovated nature house using eco friendly or recycled materials wherever possible this breathable house offers undisturbed sleep, magnificent uninterrupted views of the night sky and the chance not only to appreciate nature but to remind you that you really are a part of it. Modest but adequate accomodation comprises of a mezzanine and bedroom, kitchen diner, lounge and outdoor eating and sitting areas. There is a bed settee (click clack) downstairs so possible to sleep six , extra charges apply but I don't think it's too comfortable for 2 people.We have something very special here because apart from ourselves hardly a car passes by. There is a very special energy here, nourishing, reinvigorating and yet totally relaxing.

Nature and surroundings

Our nature house on the edge of the Parc Naturel Regional Perigord Limousin, we built amidst the wildlife and they have accepted us. Deer roam freely, there is a lovely dawn chorus and evensong from the birds, owls hoot, butterflies, geckos, blue lizards. There are many forest walks, down the Dronne you can hire a canoe and pass through nothing but nature, take a picnic and make a day of it or do some wild bathing. There are lovely places to visit such as the caves at Villars or Lascaux a little further afield. The Parc offers family days out and workshops. There are places to swim in the river or lakes a drive away.In line with Nature House biodiversity, you will find the garden 'informal' with areas uncut. We do keep the area immediately surrounding the accomodation neat and tidy but do not expect a park.
