Nature house in Reichelsheim

Tucked away in a valley in the Odenwald—the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house was built in 1968 by my father, an architect, and is located in a valley in the heart of a cultivated landscape. The nearest settlement is about 2 kilometers away. In the morning, the sun shines on the terrace—garden chairs, an extendable table, and a wooden Hollywood swing are available. The property covers 2,500 square meters, including a water terrace, a small stream, a carport, and a workshop shed. Inside the house (130 square meters), the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and refrigerator, but there is no microwave or dishwasher. If it gets too cold in the evening, you can light the fireplace or the tiled stove. The large table in the dining room is extendable. We are a dog-friendly home—dogs are free to roam the grounds, though they are not fenced in. We also have bees and make our own honey.

Unspoiled nature, seclusion, a charming cultural landscape, cows, farms, friendly neighbors, a hiker’s paradise - Our house is surrounded by nature, and you can set out on hikes right from here—for example, to the Rodenstein Castle Ruins in Fränkisch-Crumbach, the Kaiserturm in Winterkasten, or Lindenfels Castle. In Reichelsheim itself, there’s a swimming pool. A little further away, you can take a dip in Lake Marbach. I can also recommend a farm where you can rent Fjord horses for trail rides (no prior experience required). The house has internet access. The TV works with all channels. Board games, darts, a stereo (old-school with CD and radio), plus badminton and table tennis will keep boredom at bay. A grill is available.
