Nature house in Reichelsheim

The vacation home was built in 1968 by my father, an architect. The nearest settlement is about 2 kilometers away. In the morning you have sun on the terrace - garden chairs, an extendable table, a wooden Hollywood swing and a barbecue are available. The grounds are 2500 square meters including a water terrace, small stream, carport and shed. In the house itself, the kitchen is fully equipped plus oven, fridge, but no microwave and no dishwasher. If it is too cold for you in the evening, you can light the fireplace or tiled stove. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. If necessary, there are some in the house. If you use them, a cleaning fee will be charged. In spring and fall you have to heat with wood. We are a dog-friendly vacation home: dogs can run around freely on the grounds. We also have bees and make our own honey. Perfect for families and groups. No parties though.

Situated in the Odenwald in a secluded valley - to relax and unwind. Pure nature, seclusion, lovely cultural landscape, cows, farms, friendly neighbors, hiking paradise - nearby are Rodenstein Castle, Lindenfels Castle, the Kaiserturm and the Felsenmeer. There is a swimming pool in Reichelsheim itself. A little further on you can splash around in the Marbachsee. I can name a farm where you can hire Fjord horses for riding. In the immediate vicinity is a 500-year-old farm that has been lovingly restored by a sculptor and artist. The Odenwald offers many regional foods. I can give you tips on regional shopping. There are many trout ponds around us where you can buy fresh trout.
