Nature house in Pianazzola di Chiavenna

Welcome to Pianazzola, the scenic and pedestrian hamlet of Chiavenna without stores and noise, 5km from the center (10 minutes by car on typical winding paved mountain road), 630m asl. Our guesthouse/ B&B also provides guests with three scenic studio apartments with kitchenettes, each furnished with a different school theme, as the building was once the village school. The one you are booking is dedicated to Biology or Music or Languages, depending on availability, and has 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed (max. 4 people). There is also a small restaurant with a panoramic terrace on the ground floor of the building. There are no other restaurants or bars in Pianazzola and no stores either.... We are located in a very scenic spot, in a hamlet of 40 people and we are not reachable directly by car, but only by walking 300m from the parking lot above. Nature tranquility views and relaxation are certainly not lacking!

We are located in the historic, scenic and pedestrian hamlet of Pianazzola with stone houses and narrow streets, and we have a terrace with a lawn for sunbathing, away from traffic and noise, with fabulous views of Chiavenna and the valley. Nearby you will find various possibilities for forest walks with beautiful destinations to reach: the Acquafraggia waterfall in Borgonuovo, the villages of Crana, Savogno, Daloo and Lagunc. Also possible to walk from Chiavenna center (tourist resort with many small stores, bars and restaurants) to here in Pianazzola doing 350m of elevation gain; a ferrata is 300m from us. For the more sporty, canyoning possibilities in Val Bodengo. 30 min. drive away in winter you can go skiing in Madesimo. Come to eat and collect chestnuts and mushrooms in autumn. Not far is the Swiss border and Val Bregaglia with its pearl Soglio; a 1-hour drive to St. Moritz and 30 min. to Lake Como.
