Would you like to enjoy the Achterhoek space and quiet? Then you have come to the right place. This is because the nature house is located in a rural and quiet location, surrounded by meadows overlooking the Montferland. On our property we have about twenty texel sheep. Feel free to take a look at the sheep and in the spring at the lambs! The cottage was built in 2010. It is simple, but in good condition and fully equipped. Around the cottage there is enough space to sit outside, overlooking the meadows with beautiful sheep. With some regularity you will see deer, kestrels and owls or a stork on the stork's nest. This cottage is suitable for two adults with 1 baby/toddler or a parent with child(ren). Small playground is available. Nice to know is that bed linen bath towels and kitchen towels are provided. Bicycles can be placed in an enclosed space.

In the nearby Montferland and the villages Zeddam and 's-Heerenberg, 4km from the cottage, you can enjoy hiking and cycling in the beautiful nature. The cottage is also close to the route of the Pieterpad. In the village of Ulft is the DRU Culture Factory. Here you can go to a nice show or you can go to a terrace when the weather is nice. The city of Doetinchem is also within twenty minutes cycling distance, where you will also find extensive catering and the theater Amphion. The German border is 10 to 15 km away. So you can make nice trips to the German places Emmerich, Anholt or Elten. And in the Dutch town of Spijk/Tolkamer you can see how the Rhine enters the Netherlands. Throughout the area you can visit a number of castles, such as the Slangenburg, Landfort and Huize Bergh. In the Stroombroek nature reserve there is the necessary recreation, including for the water sports enthusiast. In addition, you can relax here in the wellness resort of Palestra.
