Furnishing of cottage was fine. Beds were good. Kitchen equipment basic but fine. Cleaning could be dotted; oven and light switches were sticky. Furnishing was basic but that was the charm of the cottage. Landlord responded immediately to our questions. Bottle of Asti and cookies on arrival were very thoughtful. Beautiful surroundings for walks. Pool was not heated and therefore very cold but we got used to it. In clear weather is beautiful stargazing and then you can hear the crickets and owls in the valley. There is hardly any traffic around the cottage as the road dead ends and is only for destination traffic. The cottage is attached to a larger complex but it was not inhabited during our stay. It is a short drive to the highway but that is the charm of this quiet place in the middle of nature.
Inrichting van huisje was prima. Bedden waren goed. Keukenuitrusting basic maar prima. Schoonmaak zou nog puntje op de i kunnen krijgen; oven en lichtknoppen waren plakkerig. De inrichting was basic maar dat was juist de charme van het huisje. Verhuurder reageerde direct op onze vragen. Fles Asti en koekjes bij aankomst waren heel attent. Mooie omgeving voor wandelingen. Zwembad was niet verwarmd en dus heel koud maar dat wende wel. Bij helder weer is het prachtig sterren kijken en dan hoor je de krekels en de uilen in het dal. Er is nauwelijks verkeer rond het huisje want de weg loopt dood en is alleen voor bestemmingsverkeer. Het huisje zit vast aan een groter complex maar dat was tijdens ons verblijf niet bewoond. Het is wel even rijden naar de snelweg maar dat is juist de charme van deze rustige plek midden in de natuur.
